User testing should be done regularly to understand how users behave with your product, if it’s solving their problems, and where the user experience can be improved.

Scenario testing:

• Give your user a scenario to complete along with a backstory of why they want to complete that action
• Record both the user and the device
• Ask the user to think out loud throughout the process (be critical and honest)
• Have follow up questions prepared

Impression tests:

• Give your user 10 or 15 seconds to see your app/webpage/product
• Ask questions about it?
  • What were the things that you noticed first?
  • What problem is this product solving?
  • Anything that stuck out to you or that you got caught up on?
• Record the user and the device
